Everton are wrapping up a deal for Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd this week.
The Sun says Goodison boss David Moyes has pipped Celtic for the out-of-contract Cardiff striker, capped once by England.
Bothroyd spent three years in Wales and was the Bluebirds' top scorer this term.
He netted 20 times but Cardiff blew their chance of automatic promotion to the Premier League.
