Everton powerbroker Sir Philip Carter expects manager David Moyes to soon be making new signings.

"I think next season we will gradually build," he told evertonTV. "We are getting two or three of our younger players coming to the fold. We also have to remember that when we get our injured back, they'll almost be like new players to us because they've been out for so long.

"I'm sure we'll also be helping David through this period of time to strengthen his team."
