Everton are preparing new contract talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The 22-year-old signed a new deal two years ago which ties him to the club until June 2023.

But to reward Calvert-Lewin's progress and importance to the team, Everton are preparing to offer an extension and pay rise, says the Liverpool Echo.

It is believed a new contract could see the eight-goal Calvert-Lewin commit himself to the Blues for the next five years.

Everton are making their move amid reports of interest from Manchester United.
