Everton plan bid for Sheffield Wednesday keeper Westwood

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is interesting Everton.

The Daily Mail says Everton have shown an interest in Wednesday goalkeeper Westwood.

The Republic of Ireland international has 18 months left on contract and brings Premier League experience. Manager Roberto Martinez has been considering foreign options after making enquiries for Cardiff's David Marshall and Alex McCarthy of QPR also.

Westwood, has recorded 12 clean sheets this season, and owner Milan Mandaric said: "We don't want to sell any players. We are not selling a club."
