England defeated Denmark U19 1-0 last night.

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley was joined in the starting line-up by Blues left-back Jake Bidwell as West Ham United attacker Robert Hall's solitary strike proved decisive.

Barkley pulled the strings in midfield and showed plenty of classy touches. He also went close to finding the target as he let fly from long range earlier in the second half.
