Everton will spend today attempting to close a deal for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.

The Daily Mail says Sevilla have big financial problems, which could give Everton the opportunity to complete a move for Negredo, who had previously been linked with Tottenham.

The Spain striker would cost Everton more than £9million if they were able to close a deal before 11pm.
