Everton have opened talks to sign permanently Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

Gomes has played 28 times for the Toffees this season during his loan spell at Goodison Park.

And despite rumours Tottenham have already agreed a deal, Blues boss Marco Silva said: “We have to do some also, it is not finished.

“Andre's future we keep open, and not just Andre but (Kurt) Zouma also.

“But you asked me about Andre. His future is open and it is up to us the best we can do to sign him."
