Everton aren't panicking over reports of Chelsea having a deal with Lille for Gabriel.

The Telegraph says despite claims that a Chelsea transfer for Gabriel was "almost complete", Everton remain confident of beating both Frank Lampard's side plus their London rivals Arsenal to the Brazilian's signature.

Lille remain in talks with Everton for the centre-back's move to Goodison Park with Carlo Ancelotti's side remaining firmly in the running.

LOSC are seeking €30-35m to sell the defender.
