According to The GuardianEverton have made no special plans to increase security at Goodison Park for the visit of Wayne Rooney with Manchester United. The Toffees host United in the lunchtime game and the England striker is expected to make his first appearance in the Premier League since allegations about his private life were published last Sunday.
Rooney left Everton for the Red Devils in an acrimonious £27 million transfer deal six years ago and he has had a rough ride from home fans ever since he has gone back.
