Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles could yet move within the Premier League this summer.

The Daily Express says Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will allow Maitland-Niles to be sold this summer because he does not fit into his plans, according to reports.

The versatile academy graduate has been used sparingly under the Spanish coach.

The former England youth international is said to already be working on an exit ahead of the summer window.

But because he is tied down at the Emirates until 2023, Arsenal may not sell him this summer but rather loan him out.

And it could open the door to leaving for a Premier League rival, with Newcastle United and Everton mentioned as potential destinations.
