Everton must overcome Roma if they're to sign Sassuolo winger Davide Frattesi.

Frattesi has impressed Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, with the midfielder currently on-loan at Empoli, says TMW.

But Roma are also keen and have first option on the midfielder, having originally sold him to Sassuolo.

Frattesi, 20, is an Italy U21 international.

The midfielder is tied to Sassuolo until 2021.
