Everton midfielder Sigurdsson on Spurs draw: It feels like two points dropped

Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson admitted frustration after last night's 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

After scoring twice, Sigurdsson says the result feels like two points dropped.

He said, "It feels like we dropped two points from the chances we had and the goals we conceded. We are satisfied with the performance but disappointed not to take the three points.

"We haven't had a lot of time since the Brighton game but the way we set up worked fantastically. We had a lot of chances but we were just missing that little bit of quailty to see the game off."

On defensive errors, he added: "When you concede goals it is most of the time down to mistakes, that is the way football is. We had enough chances to win the games so we have to look at the chances we didn't take."
