Everton midfielder James McCarthy was delighted with his goalscoring performance in victory over Manchester United.
McCarthy broke the deadlock in Sunday's thumping 3-0 win over Manchester United and his excellent all-round performance earned him the Sky Sports and sponsors' man of the match accolades.
"It's nice to score these goals. It's only two though - so let's not get carried away!" McCarthy told evertontv.
"It's nice to get on the scoresheet. I've changed my role these last couple of weeks and I've been getting in the box.
"I should have had another goal last week [against Burnley] but it's nice to get a goal at home, especially with the fans out there."
