Everton midfielder Joe Williams is interesting Bristol City.

Bristol City are interested in bringing EWilliams to Ashton Gate if the on-loan Bolton man becomes available, head coach Lee Johnson has confirmed.

He told the Bristol Post: “Well obviously Joe Williams is a good young player that plays for Everton.

“If he was available at that point then we would have had an interest. I like Joe Williams. He's a good player.

“But that doesn't necessarily mean that he would have come in and jumped ahead of anybody that we've got. And also he's not our player. I like a lot of players but I can't have them all."
