Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has rejected a move to Chelsea.
The Londoners are in the market for a new midfield addition before the deadline falls next week.
After being frustrated in their attempts for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea turned to Everton and Onana this week.
Foot Mercato says a bid was lodged, but Onana informed Everton he didn't want to leave midseason.
The Belgium international only arrived at Everton in the summer from Lille for €36m.
