Everton are reportedly planning a January swoop for Real Mallorca midfielder Iddrisu Baba.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a top-class player in La Liga this season.

And according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Toffees boss Rafa Benitez wants to bring Baba to Goodison Park.

Baba's current contract, which expires in 2024, includes a release clause of £38m.

A senior Ghana international, Baba joined Mallorca in 2014 after previously playing for Leganes.
