Everton boss David Moyes is planning a Bosman swoop for Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford.

The News of the World says Moyes wants to add more firepower to his squad this summer - and the 26-year-old is available on a free transfer.

Beckford handed in a transfer request after scoring the winner against Manchester United in the FA Cup third round at Old Trafford.

Moyes has been monitoring his form and Everton will offer the forward a route into the Premier League.
