Everton have made a new offer for Rangers defender Nathan Patterson.
The Liverpool Echo says Everton have seen an improved offer for Patterson rejected, after seeing their initial bid also knocked back
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard branded the Blues' opening £5m bid “a joke" but it has been reported that the Scottish club has since turned down £8m for the 19-year-old.
It is well known that the Blues are looking to strengthen their right-back options, with 32-year-old club captain Seamus Coleman facing limited competition for his place.
With previous target Denzel Dumfries having now joined Inter Milan, it remains to be seen if Everton return for Patterson in the final days of the transfer window.
