Everton have made an improved offer for Napoli midfielder Allan.

Former Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti is eager to bring the Brazilian to England this summer.

Il Mattino says Everton's latest bid is for €38m and there is a confidence Napoli are now prepared to sell.

Allan's agents are already in talks with Everton over personal terms, with a contract offer worth €1.7m-a-year now on the table.

The Brazil international, 29, has been with the Azzurri for five years.
