Juventus striker Moise Kean has seen an offer from Everton turned down.
Everton lodged a bid of almost £27million, but Juventus rejected it, says the Daily Mail. Kean has also been linked with interest from Ajax this summer.
He has been capped three times by Italy at senior level, scoring two goals.
Everton are in the market for an established forward to lead their attack.
Neither Cenk Tosun nor Dominic Calvert-Lewin made the position their own last season, with attacking midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison Everton's joint-top scorers with 13 Premier League goals each.
