Everton legend Kevin Ratcliffe is delighted with what he's seeing from Marco Silva's team.
Writing for the Liverpool Echo, he stated: "Whisper it quietly, but I'm starting to feel really optimistic about what could be happening at Everton Football Club again.
"Before Sunday's trip to Chelsea we had won three of our previous four games.
"At Stamford Bridge we became the first team to keep a clean sheet against Maurizio Sarri's unbeaten side, but most importantly of all we look we have an identity again.
"Sunday's display claimed a well earned point at a very difficult place to go, and while people might say Chelsea had chances to score - so did we!
"We were the first team to stop them scoring st Stamford Bridge this season and that's a nice statistic to have."
