Everton legend Andy Gray can't see Duncan Ferguson getting the permanent manager's job - despite a debut win over Chelsea.
With Ferguson taking charge for the first time since Marco Silva's sacking on Thursday, the Blues romped to a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.
Gray remarked afterwards, "It's one thing to get a response of a team that was pretty abject in a local derby three days ago and get them playing differently, than it is to put a man in charge for 38 games of a Premier League season, and ask that same sort of thing to happen.
“Listen, Duncan hasn't done himself any harm whatsoever, but I would be amazed if their thoughts about who's going to be the next coach have changed because of the 90 minutes we've just seen."
