Everton are expected to kickoff negotiations today with the minders of Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira.

Sky Sports says discussions were due to begin on Sunday with the aim of bringing the 51 year-old to England.

Vitor is currently based in China, where he has been in charge of Shanghai SIPG.

It's suggested he will have to accept a hefty pay-cut to leave his Chinese Premier League club for Everton.

Vitor counts Porto, Fenerbahce and 1860 Munich amongst his former clubs.
