Everton launch bid for Peterborough keeper Lewis

Everton are launching a bid for Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

The Sun says the £3million-rated Peterborough keeper was on the bench for England's 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.

Goodison boss David Moyes believes Lewis, 20, has massive potential while Liverpool and Manchester United had him watched last season.

He was signed from Norwich for just £400,000 in January and although Posh want to keep him, they will not be able to turn down a big bid.
