Everton hit the woodwork three times as they were held to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their Women's Champions League last-32 tie with MTK Hungaria, reports BBC Sport. The Hungarians came into the game after the break but visiting goalkeeper Rachel Brown was never extended.
"It was a tough game against a team that stuck to their game plan and made us work hard," said Everton coach Mo Marley.
"They'll probably come to us with a similar plan, defending and trying to hit us on the break, and we'll probably have to be a bit cuter to open them up.
"But if we can do that then hopefully we can get a goal or two and make home advantage count."
