Everton keeper Tim Howard stuns Colorado Rapids with contract demands

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has stunned Colorado Rapids with his contract demands.

The goalkeeper, 36, is expected to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season and return to the USA.

The Rapids are said to have reeled at his wage demands.

The Sun says US international Howard wants a four-year contract at the Rapids worth £70,000 a week.

The deal would start this summer once the Premier League season ends.
