Everton have expressed interest in PSV Eindhoven defender Jurich Carolina.

De Telegraaf says Everton have opened talks with PSV for the 18 year-old left-back.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman would like to sign Carolina this month, though is willing to wait until June to close a deal.

Carolina is tied to PSV until 2018, meaning Everton will have to cough up a fee for the youngster.

The defender arrived at PSV in 2015 after spending his junior days with Fortuna Sittard and AZ Alkmaar.
