Everton have held talks with Red Bull football chief Ralf Rangnick, it has been revealed.
The Telegraph says Everton have spoken to the representatives of Rangnick in recent days with the German once again in contention for the Toffees job.
The Goodison Park board have considered an array of options before homing in on former Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Rangnick is among those considered - just as he was in 2013 when David Moyes left and in 2017 when Ronald Koeman was sacked.
Rangnick is currently head of sport and development at Red Bull, which means he's overseeing operations at RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and New York Red Bulls.
