Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was pushed about the club's Financial Fair Play charge at his England presser yesterday.
The Blues have been referred to the commission over an alleged breach of profit and sustainability rules. The Premier League did not reveal the specifics of the club's alleged breach, other than saying it occurred in the period ending with the 2021/22 season.
Pickford, who is away on international duty, was speaking alongside England manager Gareth Southgate to preview the clash against Ukraine at Wembley on Sunday evening.
And when asked about the issue, the Everton and England goalkeeper said: “I've obviously seen it on Sky Sports and I believe Everton have put a statement out there, and that's all I can really say.
"My job is playing football and keeping the ball out of the back of the net. I've seen it, but I can't say any more."
