Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is delighted by the England return of former teammate Wayne Rooney.
Pickford says the DC United striker deserves recognition for being his country's leading goalscorer and he has already managed 119 caps.
Pickford said: “It's good for Wazza, good for the nation, and I think it's a good thing all round.
“I don't think it's a bad thing at all. A really good idea.
"He is England's highest goalscorer, he nearly beat the caps record and it will be for his 120th cap, so I think as a nation, a lot of other nations do it, so it's great that the boss and the FA have put this on for him.
“He is still a top player. He's not 'Rooney' for nothing. He's a top player, he's gone over there and performed well and he looks like he is enjoying it."
