Everton goalkeeper Pickford full of pride over England form

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is full of pride over his England form at Euro 2020.

Pickford was superb for the round of 16 win against Germany.

Producing vital saves from Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, the 27-year-old is the only goalkeeper at the tournament yet to concede a goal, having kept a clean sheet in all four of his performances so far.

“It's just about giving my all, 100% on the training pitch," he told reporters. “Keep working hard and do everything right.

“Not cutting corners, giving myself the best opportunity when I come to matchday to make sure I'm fully prepared and fully focused, which I have been, and just be the best that I can be, which is all I can do.

“I've just got to be in the moment and help the team as much I can. I train hard all week and give 100% all the time.

“I made two good saves at critical saves, and came for crosses to take the sting out of the game when we were 2-0 up.

“I thought I was in the moment and I need to keep building on it and take it into Saturday."
