Everton fullback Lucas Digne is attracting rival Premier League interest.

ESPN says Chelsea and Manchester City are both targeting a move for France international Digne.

Both clubs reportedly view the defender as an alternative to Leicester City's Ben Chilwell, who is valued at £75million.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is widely acknowledged to be keen to strengthen his options at left-back, with Chilwell a long-term target.

Meanwhile, City manager Pep Guardiola is struggling with defensive issues of his own, with neither Benjamin Mendy or Oleksandr Zinchenko showing the required level of consistency.

Everton signed Digne for £18million back in 2018 and would reportedly expect a high fee for the France international.
