Everton fullback Lucas Digne insists he's never been a Liverpool fan.

The former Barcelona defender says he's never been a supporter of the Reds.

He told France Football: "Liverpool fans tried to say that I was a fan of their club.

"Except they did not know a thing. I had already refused to join their club twice. Before going to Paris and before going to Barcelona.

"Everton fans loved it!"
