Everton fullback Jonjoe Kenny says Schalke's players are delighted to be back in training.

Kenny is on-loan with S04 and has revealed how the players are feeling now they're back in training after the coronavirus suspension.

The defender admits there's scrutiny from the media eager to catch anyone 'breaking the rules'.

He said, “The coach spoke to us and we're lucky enough that we're training and getting six, seven eight players training together but you have to stay two metres away.

“There's a lot of cameras there trying to catch anyone out so you do have to stay on top of it and stick to the rules. But the sessions the coaching staff at Schalke have put on have been brilliant.

“The lads have loved it. Even though there's no contact and you think there's not much you can do they've come up with some great training sessions for us.

“It's great to get back on the balls and back feeling sharp again really."
