Everton fans turn on Kenwright: Time to go

Everton fans have demanded the removal of chairman Bill Kenwright in an open letter to Farhad Moshiri.

The club are hoping that owner Moshiri can enact significant changes at the Toffees in the coming months.

The protest group, named the 27 Years Campaign, also wants chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale removed from his post.

The letter, per The Mirror, says: “In the near seven years since you acquired your initial shareholding you have persisted in retaining the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“There is nothing in the club's governance, commercial, financial and indeed footballing performance, that suggests they warrant continued employment.

“As a result of huge losses and the squandering of resources, our competitive position declines on an annual basis in all respects. How can you justify their performance?"
