Everton are plotting a double raid on Benfica's academy.

O Jogo says Everton are ready to move for Benfica centre-half Pedro Álvaro and left-back Nuno Tavares.

Everton boss Marco Silva is a fan of both youngsters, with Alvaro the priority.

Alvaro is a ball-playing centre-half, but being tied to Benfica until 2023, Everton will have to cough up big for the 19 year-old.

Like Alvaro, Tavares is also 19 and has four years to run on his contract. Everton scouts are impressed by his attacking qualities, though have doubts about him defensively.
