Everton are eyeing Atletico Madrid fullback Santiago Arias.

Mundo Deportivo says Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to recruit the 28-year-old this summer.

Arias, who has a contract until 2023, is already known to Everton's sports director Marcel Brands from their time together at PSV Eindhoven.

The Colombia defender has managed just 11 appearances this season with Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko ahead of him in Atletico coach Diego Simeone's plans.

Atletico won't stand in Arias' way should the right offer arrive this summer.
