Everton defender James Tarkowski has no doubts about the quality of fellow new signing Neal Maupay.
Maupay made his Toffees debut in Saturday's Merseyside derby draw at home to Liverpool, covering an impressive 11.1km and finding himself unfortunate not to have scored.
The 26-year-old was one of three late arrivals, alongside deadline day duo Idrissa Gueye and James Garner, and Tarkowski - a summer signing himself - believes the club have had a very encouraging window.
He told evertontv when asked to describe Maupay: "Annoying! He's difficult to play against, he's not the biggest but he gets his body in well. He's a goalscorer. He always gets himself in a goalscoring position.
"With time, I'm sure he'll score plenty for us."
