Everton defender Michael Keane is grateful for his time at Burnley.
Keane will face his former teammates tonight at Goodison Park.
On Burnley, he told the Mirror: “It was massive for my development to go there. It was a big decision to leave Man United but, looking back, it was the best thing I could have done. I learned so much when I was at Burnley.
"I started off in the Premier League. We got relegated but you learn a lot from that, and I played week-in and week-out when we were in the Championship.
“You have so many good times when you're in a team which is winning week-in and week-out and you win a trophy. It gives you that hunger to want more of it.
“It was a very successful season the year after, staying in the Premier League. It was the first time in a long time for Burnley. All in all, I couldn't have had a better time there on the pitch.
“Off the pitch, it's full of great people. Everyone treated me well and I'm still in touch with a lot of them now.
“It will be nice to see them on Friday but it's a big game for us, we're still pushing for seventh and we need to win it."
