Everton crock Phil Jagielka has delivered England a double blow.
Jagielka played just three minutes of Saturday's 3-1 win over Reading before Adam Le Fondre's late challenge left him with a badly gashed ankle.
He is a major doubt for the 2014 qualifiers in San Marino on March 22 and away to group leaders Montenegro on March 26.
