Everton defender Jagielka accepts keeping England place warm for Rio

Everton defender Phil Jagielka accepts he may have to make way for senior England teammates when the next international round occurs.

Jagielka's own form has been impressive for England, giving manager Fabio Capello a selection problem when Rio Ferdinand and John Terry are back from injury.

"If they're fit, they're fit," said Jagielka. "The manager chooses the players he wants to play. We've won two games, done pretty well as a team and I've been part of that team.

"There's nothing much else I can do - except maybe score a couple of goals."
