Everton crock Mikel Arteta was sorry to miss the FA Cup final last week.

"We haven't had the chance to play in finals with this Club in recent years so it's really hard to take," he told evertonTV.

"I'm determined to help the Club reach more finals. We're moving in the right direction. We've got a good team, good spirit and hopefully we're going to get used to these situations."

Still uncertain when he will be ready for a first-team return, the Spaniard added: "I'm concentrating on getting ready to play as soon as possible first and the rest will come with time."
