Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta cannot predict when he will return to playing.

Arteta recently had surgery for a third time after suffering knee ligament damage in February.

"There have been a few setbacks," said Arteta, who wants to spend the rest of his career at Everton. "The surgeon and the medical staff at the club don't want to talk about time because there is no point."
