Everton are confident of landing Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford.
The Daily Star Sunday says Beckford, 26, aims to win promotion to the Coca-Cola Championship with Leeds - then move to the Premier League with Everton.
Goodison boss David Moyes has been strongly linked with Beckford, who likes the idea of joining up with the Everton manager.
