Everton are pushing Barcelona to drop their price for Andre Gomes.

The two clubs are now thrashing out terms over a permanent deal for Gomes after last season's successful loan on Merseyside.

Barca had hoped to sell for €30m, but with Everton now the lone suitor, Sport says they face the prospect of having to accede to the Blues' demands.

For his part, Gomes has already agreed to return to Everton, so putting further pressure on Barca to cut their valuation.

A compromise is expected to be reached in the coming days.
