Everton are making a sustained effort to sign William Carvalho from Sporting CP.

Carvalho is one of the Sporting players who is desperate to leave the club.

He is unhappy at conditions at the club following an incident where fans attacked the training ground.

And it appears he may get a way out through Everton, per A Bola.

The Portuguese source claims that Everton manager Marco Silva wants the player. They also say that Everton's director of football, Marcel Brands, has already met Carvalho's agent.
