Everton clearing the decks; Robinson, Bowler on their way

Everton are clearing the decks ahead of the new season.

According to the Daily Mail, moves involving Antonee Robinson and Josh Bowler are moving ever closer.

Robinson, a 21-year-old left back, is in talks over a £2million move to Wigan while winger Josh Bowler is set to join Hull City on a season-long loan.

Blues director of football Marcel Brands has spent the window trying to trim Marco Silva's large squad.

Jonjoe Kenny, Sandro Ramirez (both loans), Brendan Galloway and Nikola Vlasic have already departed, while Phil Jagielka and Ashley Williams have been released.

Robinson played 26 times for Wigan on loan last season and has been capped by the United States at senior level.

Bowler, 20, has made six appearances for Everton in the Football League Trophy but not featured in the Premier League.
