Everton are keen to discuss a loan arrangement for Napoli midfielder Allan.

The Athletic reports Everton could push to sign Allan on a loan deal this summer in order to land one of Carlo Ancelotti's top targets.

The 29-year-old has emerged as one of the top targets for Everton this summer and the club are considering their options as they look to land him.

Allan will turn 30 by the middle of next season and it is possible Everton may not want to commit big funds on him this summer; they have been linked in Italy with offering €25m.

And it is claimed that Everton director of football Marcel Brands could look to sign Ancelotti's top midfield target on a loan deal.
