Everton are turning their attention to Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay.

According to The Sun, the Toffees were denied the chance to sign Rangers youngster Nathan Patterson.

Now, manager Rafa Benitez is looking at Ramsay as he seeks to add a young right back to his squad.

A scout was present to watch the 18-year-old as Aberdeen took on Motherwell in Scotland on Saturday.

Ramsey, who played for Scotland's Under-21 side last week against Turkey, came off after 62 minutes with cramp.
