Everton captain Phil Jagielka is unsure over the club's plans for him.

Jagielka is out of contract this summer but says he has been given no indication if a new deal will be offered or not.

He was asked if he had any idea what was going to happen over his Blues future and told the Liverpool Echo: “No. I was a lot happier last week than I am this week but that's the way football goes.

“We win together as a team and lose together as a team but as far as my future, it will happen as and when it does.

“I'd would like to have (heard) some concrete stuff yesterday but, at same extent, it's not playing on my mind too much, it's case of just getting on with things and hopefully knowing sooner rather than later."
